Merry Christmas – Parts 2, 3 and 4

Before I post the Christmas pictures, I will provide an explanation about the Barbie.  Ryan asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him I wanted a Barbie and a pony. Between the time I said that and Christmas, we went to see a movie called Marwencol.  I’m not going to try and explain the movie because every time I do, it just sounds crazier and crazier.  Let’s just say I love Mark’s photography and now I’m kind of obsessed about photographing 1/6 scale people… er…  I mean dolls!

So, back to Christmas…

Saturday we went to Shane and Julie’s. We had a great time. Almost everyone showed up and there was a lot of spirited discussion.

Saturday night we went to Dennis and Darlene’s.  That was a little more low key but still fun. We had crab legs and chile. Weird combination but we wanted to have something easy (chili) and an alternative to seafood just in case Darlene and I were the only ones eating the crab legs!

Sunday we went to my Dad’s. He was already a little spun up about the tests he had scheduled for today. And as it turns out, he didn’t have the stress test done. I’m going with when he has his next appointment because I’d really like to understand why they scheduled a stress test for an 80-year-old. Hopefully the doctor won’t “blackball” him.

I didn’t bring my camera with to Darlene’s or to my Dad’s, so here are some of the photos from Shane and Julie’s:

1/6 scale people? Lol, what is that all about? I guess I’m going to have to click on the link! Sounds like you had a good Christmas anyway… for a second I thought that was Jim playing the guitar!
p.s. stress test = possible heart issues??
